Kaluba Chikonde, known as The Queen of Data, helps leaders and organisations understand what AI means for their business, make better decisions about where it can create value, and move forward with confidence. As a Clarity Engineer, AI strategist, keynote speaker, and hands-on technical leader, she makes complex technology practical, accessible, and relevant to the people responsible for leading change.
Kaluba currently serves as a Senior Data & AI Engineering Lead at Livetec Systems, a global leader in biosecurity, where she leads the design and delivery of production-grade data and AI platforms supporting real-world biosecurity challenges. Her work spans the full journey from data strategy and engineering to AI implementation, giving her a practitioner’s perspective that goes far beyond theory.
She is also the founder of DimystifAI and co-founder of Coding4Finance, driving innovation and inclusion across Africa. Across banking, aviation, health, agritech, fintech, broadcasting, education, professional services, and telecommunications, Kaluba has built a career at the intersection of technology, strategy, and human impact.

Her work is rooted in representation. Growing up, she rarely saw women, particularly African women, visible at the forefront of data, AI, and technology. That absence shaped her mission: to become visible proof of what is possible and to create more pathways for others to lead, build, and belong in the AI era.
